A device for mounting a ring-core transformer has a peg 6, a deformable covering part 2 and a nut 5. The peg 6 has a cylindrical part 61 on at least part of which an external thread 63 is applied, and a supporting part 62 which extends in the radial direction and is adjacent to the part 61 on the one side of the peg 6. The covering part 2 is constructed in the form of a hollow cylinder and can be pushed on to the part 61 in such a manner that its one side rests on the flange 62. The covering part 2 is dimensioned in the longitudinal direction in such a manner that a region, of the part 61 of the peg 6, which is provided with the external thread 63 projects on the other side of the covering part 2 and beyond said covering part 2. The nut 5 can be screwed onto the projecting region in such a manner that the other side of the covering part 2 rests on the nut 5. After insertion of the peg 6 into the central opening of the transformer 1, the covering part 2 can be deformed by screwing the nut 5 onto the part 61 of the peg, in such a manner that said covering part 2 is pressed firmly against the inner surface of the central opening of the transformer 1. <IMAGE>
