PURPOSE:To eliminate useless transmission of torque by approximating the output torque to be applied onto the valve shaft to the torque characteristic to be required by the valve shaft with correspondence to the rotary angle. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of input shaft 17 through drive mechanism, cam plate 13 will roll counter clockwise around the input shaft 17. The cam follower 10 is pushed upward from one end of cam groove 14 while rolling to perform arched motion around the base end section 4a thus to rotate the valve shaft through an arm 4. Approximately right angle is maintained between the center line CD connecting the opposite ends of the cam groove 14 and the locus MN of the motion of the center of the cam follower 10 thus to utilize approximately 100% of the force of cam plate for supporting the cam follower as the output torque for the valve shaft. |
