PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate the reading of print-out data, by providing a density control means for performing printing by changing printing density in a line or row unit. CONSTITUTION:A printer control circuit 51 inputs various data and the state signal of each switch of an operation panel 5 to control a drive circuit 52, and drives and controls each pin of a printing head 28 to print a required character. The I/F data head controller 62 of the printer control circuit 51 checkes the state of the density control indication switch 9 of the operation panel 5, confirms the presence or absence of the practice of a line feed LF and discriminates whether an alternate flag OF is OF=1 and brings an ACT flag to ''1'' or ''0'' to perform the printing treatment of a required character. By this treatment, because printing pressure is altered at every one line and printing density changes at every one line, the reading of print-out data becomes easy and printing density can be also changed at every plural lines, one line (figure) and plural lines (figures). |
