摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled device enabling the direct control of the pipe making thickness during rolling by finding the thickness at the outside from the outer diameter of the rolling material charging the bar of the inside and both speeds of the inside and outside, and from the stored bar diameter, and by performing the position change of the rolling reduction so as to make the outside thickness a target value. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter of the inside of the rolling material 30 constituting the seamless steel pipe mill with a bar 10 and grooved roll 20 is detected by an inside outer diameter detecting device 40, the diameter of the bar 10 is stored by a bar 10 diameter memory device 50 and the inside speed V1, outside speed V0 are detected respectively by an inside speed detecting device 60, outside speed detecting device 70. The target thickness T is stored by a target thickness memory device 80 and the rolling start is recognized by a lock-on detecting device 90 and the outside thickness T0 is found by an outside thickness calculating device 100. The next rolling reduction position calculating device 110 calculates the controlling signal DELTAS of the position of the rolling reduction so as to make in zero the difference in the thicknesses T0, T and outputs. The thickness control is performed with operating the control device 130 of the rolling reduction position based on the signal DELTAS thereof.</p>
