PURPOSE:To attain assured reproduction of data by recording plural pairs of synchronizing patterns and data making in a recording mode and then reproducing data after securing the timing from a pair of the synchronizing pattern and data mark which can be recorded normally. CONSTITUTION:In a recording mode the data read out of a memory 3 by a control circuit 4 is converted by a parallel/serial converter 9. Prior to this conversion, the synchronizing patterns 25 and 27 and data marks 26 and 28 are added to the data 24. This data 24 is turned into the recording data 13 by a modulation circuit 8. In a reproduction mode a demodulation circuit 5 receives reproduction data 12 and secures synchronization of a sample clock 15 from the pattern 25. Then the mark 26 is sent to a data mark detecting circuit 7 with the timing of the clock 15. A data mark position circuit 18 discriminates the mark 26 from the mark 28. Then a data mark position signal 17 is set at ''0'' within a fixed time from a sector signal 11. Hereafter the signal 17 is set at ''1''. Thus it is possible to perform the assured reproduction from a pair of a synchronizing pattern and a data mark that can be reproduced normally. |
