PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of fuel metering, by making a fuel metering needle abut against a venturi body provided in a flap which is rotated in accordance with vacuum so that the needle is rectilinearly moved. CONSTITUTION:A flap 18 disposed upstream of a throttle valve 4 rotates about a shaft 15 in accordance with vacuum downstream thereof, and a variable venturi body 14 integrally incorporated with the flap is also rotated to adjust the venturi opening degree of accordance with the vacuum. One end 9b of a needle 9 is made abut against the inner surface of the variable venturi body so that the gap between a main jet 11 and the needle 9 is increased as the venturi opening degree is increased to increase the amount of supply fuel. Since the needle 9 is not integrally secured to the venturi body 14, the needle 9 is rectilinearly moved due to the provision of an guide 9a so that the adjustment of the gap between the jet 11 and the needle 9 is surely made to enhance the accuracy of fuel metering. |
