PURPOSE:To increase discharge performance by installing replenishing can in which an electrolyte is put in the central part of an outer container and spirally installing a wound body formed by winding a positive electrode and a negative electrode through a separator around the replenishing can. CONSTITUTION:A replenishing can 12 has an electrolyte for replenishing in its inside. The lower end of the can 12 is opened so as to have liquid path inside an outer container 11. A wound body 13 is formed by winding a positive electrode 14 comprising a porous body and a negative electrode 15 comprising lithium through a separator 16. Although the electrolyte in the wound body 13 is gradually consumed while a battery is discharged, the electrolyte in the can 12 is gradually replenished into the wound body 13. By spirally winding the wound body 13 around the can 12, reaction area between the positive electrode 14 and the negative electrode 15 is widened, and utility of the positive electrode is increased. |
