<p>The periodic signal in question (¦Ue¦) is delayed for a time ( zeta ) which is short compared with the period. The amplitude of the signal (¦Ue¦) is compared with that of the delayed signal (Uc). The common amplitude (Us) gives the peak value of the signal. This is memorized by means of a capacitor which is also used to produce the delay. <IMAGE></p> |
