PURPOSE:To effect surface flaw-detection constantly and precisely. To allow gimbal mechanism supporting adjustably an optical sensor in the detecting direction and controlling unit introducing a sensor for luminous line sensor following of the sensor along the projected luminous line on a cast piece. CONSTITUTION:As a warped cast piece 12 during surface detection of the piece 12 with controlling blocks causes displacement out of the view-field of a CCD camera 1l0 of the luminous line B', by processing outputs of luminous line detection sensors 11, 11' fixed to the camera 10, a yaw-corecting servo-motor 8 of a simbol mechanism 7 is operated. By this operation of the servo-motor 8, the simbol mechanism 7 supporting the camera 10 is displaced and the view- field A of the CCD camera 10 relative to the line B' is corrected. |
