PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a claw pole type generator by sealing magnetic fluid between a field core and a rotor shaft opposed to the core, thereby reducing the magnetic resistance of a magnetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic fluid 8 is sealed in an air gap between a field core 5 and a rotor shaft 7 to reduce a magnetic resistance in a magentic circuit. When an exciting current is flowed to an exciting winding 4 to generate a magnetic flux to rotate a shaft 3 by power, a current is generated. In order to hold magnetic fluid between the field core 5 and the shaft 7, a ring-shaped permanent magnet 6 is provided at the fields core 5. |
