Earth protection lead connection lamp - has spring strap between clamping screw and earth protection contact

The lead connection clamp has a clamp screw head (3) and a spring strap beneath the latter, which is divided to form 2 parallel spring tongues (111,112). The latter cooperate with a projecting rib (6) at a given distance from the screw head (3), to provide a bias force which clamps the inserted lead between a nut fitted to the screw shaft and the earth protection contact (2). Pref. the spring strap has an angled arm (12) on the opposite side to the spring tongues (111,112), acting against the face of the earth protection contact (2). ADVANTAGE - Improved function without increased cost.
