A star-shaped sorting apparatus for container-handling machines comprises a rotary star-shaped plate and catches (23) arranged on its periphery, each of which comprises a housing fastened to the star-shaped plate and is provided with a bearing bore facing the periphery of the star-shaped plate, a shank (22) which rotates through approximately 90 DEG between two extreme positions in the bearing bore, a catch (23) secured, so as to remain fixed during rotation, to the outer end of the shank which projects from the housing and the periphery of the star-shaped plate, and a switching device (25, 25) which is forcibly actuated by an actuating device and which rotates the shank between the two extreme positions. To facilitate the handling of this known star-shaped sorting apparatus, it is proposed that the switching device be actuated from one side only of the star-shaped sorting device. |
