PURPOSE:To obtain coordinate input having high operability and accuracy by increasing/decreasing the cursor moving distance in a unit time in accordance with the replacing information in a unit time which is inputted from an input device. CONSTITUTION:To move the cursor 22 from the current position 23 to an objective position 24, a mouse 26 is moved. At a position close to the position 24, the mouse 26 is rapidly moved to the objective position 24. When the cursor 22 reaches the position close to the position 24, the mouse 26 is slowly moved to make the cursor 22 coincide with the position 24 precisely, and finally the cursor 22 is moved up to the position 24. Since the moving speed of the mouse 26 is rapid in the initial stage and the replaced variable in the unit time is large, the moving distance of the cursor 22 is increased more than an input value, but the moving speed of the mouse 26 is dropped near the objective position 24 and the moving distance of the cursor 22 is decreased less than the input value because the moving distance in the unit time is low. Thus, the cursor 22 can be positioned on the position 24. |
