Cooling Plate for Metallurgical Furnaces of The Disclosure In a cooling plate, a duct for a cooling medium is formed by a channel closed by a rear and end covers and cast by the plate metal so the the rear cover is free from the plate metal. On the rear cover are provided branch pipes for feeding a cooling medium into the duct and discharging the same from said duct. The invention is useful mainly in the utilization thereof in blast furnaces.
