PURPOSE:To reduce fading of the image and nonimage areas of a diazo copy by attaching a developing soln. specified in compsn. in a binary type diazo copying material contg. a specified diazo compd. and a coupling component. CONSTITUTION:The binary type diazo copying material has, on a support, a photosensitive layer contg. a coupling component and a diazo compd. of the formula in which R is 1-4C conductive substrate alkyl; R1, R2 are each alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, cycloalkyl, or aralkyl, and both may form a hetero ring together with N; and X is an anion. The developing soln. contg. an inorg, or org. alkali, polyol and/or its ether, and 1,6-hexamethylene-bis(N,N-dimethylsemicarbazide) or 1,1,1',1'-tetramethyl-4,4'-(methylene-di-p-phenylene)disemicarbazide is attached in amt. of <=5g/m<2> to said diazo copying material As a result, a copy prevented from fading of the image and discoloring of the background areas is obtained by developing said copying material imagewise exposed by using such a developing soln. |
