<p>PURPOSE:To increase the analyzing speed through a computer by inputting the external analog information to shift a cursor and a stylus pen to X and Y directions via the 1st and 2nd controllers then detecting a contact position of the stylus pen on a magnetostrictive plate. CONSTITUTION:A stylus pen 2 can be moved toward a Y direction on a cursor 3 which is moved toward an X axis. Then the analog information given from input ports 4 and 5 are supplied to the drive means of the cursor 3 and the pen 2 via the 1st and 2nd controllers respectively. Then the pen 2 has a contact onto a magnetostrictive plate 1 to which many pieces of position information on X and Y axis directions are allocated in a matrix form. This contact position of the pen 2 is detected and outputted in the form of the digital values on both X and Y axes. Thus it is possible to obtain the correlated digital information before it is inputted to a computer.</p> |
