PURPOSE:To obtain a packed paste product having improved shelf stability, appearance, taste, etc., by using a packing material obtained by forming a shellac film of coating on a water vapor permeable side of a single-sided moistureproof cellophane, packing ground meat of marine product or livestock product with the packing material, heat-treating the ground meat. CONSTITUTION:A film of coating such as vinylidene chloride resin, vinyl chloride resin, etc. is formed on one side of cellophane, to give a single-sided moistureproof cellophane. A solution of shellac in an organic solvent is applied to the water vapor permeable side of the single-sided moistureproof cellophane, dried, to form a shellac film of coating having about 0.1-5mu thickness. Ground meat of marine product or livestock product is packed with the packing material thus prepared, and heat-treated to give the aimed packed paste product. Consequently, the product is packed in an improved adhesivity not to allow multiplication of bacterium when it is packed, and it can be packed in such a way that the packing material can be released easily when it is to be eaten. |
