PURPOSE:To minimize marginal parts of a recording paper, by providing a recording material cutting plane in the vicinity of a discharging position of a recording paper wound around a platen. CONSTITUTION:A roller bail shaft 24 is passed through a hole 18b in a bail roller lever 18, and is held therein, and a paper cutter 21 is fitted to the shaft 24. At both side end parts of the paper cutter 21 are provided paper cutter fixing parts 21b which are substantially U-shaped in cross section, and U-shaped recessed parts of the fixing parts 21b are engaged to pins 22, whereby the paper cutter 21 is prevented from being turned relatively to the shaft 24. Therefore, the lever 18, the cutter 21 and the shaft 24 are turned as one body with each other with a support shaft 19 as a center. A cutter part 21a of the cutter 21 has an acute angle in cross section, an edge part thereof is in a saw tooth form, and is located at a distance of about 1 inch from the position at which bail rollers 20 make contact with the plten. The paper 35 is cut by bringing it into contact with the edge part and pulling it in the direction of an arrow. |
