PURPOSE:To enable easy control for stepwise increasing the initial magnitude of an electric discharge processing current, by applying the outputs of the binary counts of a step number to electric discharge processing pulse peak current unit control terminals. CONSTITUTION:In an electric discharge processing equipment, a step number comparison output circuit 6 comprises a 6-bit binary counter 16, a comparator 15 for judging which is larger the binary values N0-N5 of step number or the outputs Q0-Q5 of the counter, a 3-input AND gate 17, and switch drivers 18a- 18g. Since step period pulses are counted by a step period output circuit, the peak value of an electric discharge processing current can be easily maintained even if the length of a pulse signal is shortened halfway. According to this constitution, control for stepwise increasing the initial magnitude of the electric discharge processing current can be easily performed. |
