Appts. for the continuous prodn of plastic panels e.g. polyurethane foam panels has a flexible, pressure sheet which is deformable in all directions, and is applied over a limited zone of the upper, upstream face of the part of the continuous transporter belt applying the upper layer over the plastic material. The sheet is prolonged downstream so as to exercise its action over all the length of the active shaping zone. The pressure exercised by the pressure sheet can be controlled as desired in accordance with the components of the upper bags, and with the speed of the transporter belt, to give uniform ptds. |
