PURPOSE:To decrease the loss in a feeding circuit and to obtain a high reception gain by setting a basic element of a microstrip line antenna so that the main beam direction is tilted in the direction of current, setting the other microstrip line antenna basic element so that the main beam direction is set in opposite direction to the current and making the main beam direction of both the microstrip line antennas coincident with each other. CONSTITUTION:The two microstrip line antennas 10a, 10b are provided so that they are symmetrical to a line orthogonal in the lengthwise direction of the antenna element 2 and a feeding circuit 3 is adjacent. Then the direction of currents Ia, Ib blowing to the strip conductor of both the microstrip line antennas 10a, 10b is made opposite. The basic element of the microstrip line antenna 10a is set so that the main beam direction thetam is directed in the direction of current, the basic element of the other microstrip line antenna 10b is set so that the main beam direction thetam is tilted in opposite direction to the current direction thereby making the main beam direction of both the microstrip line antennas 10a, 10b coincident with each other. |
