PURPOSE:To obtain a timer easy to carry and operate, by arranging a push member on a pen-shaped body, a timer circuit adapted to work by the operation thereof and a device for generating an alarm after a timer set time passes. CONSTITUTION:Upon the closing of a switch 42 by pushing a push member, a flipflop circuit 22 is set. With the setting, analog switch 39 is turned ON to supply power to an oscillator 14 and a frequency divider 15. Then, a pulse of 1min cycle is fed to a decrement input of a increment/decrement counter 16 from the frequency divider 15 to count the timer time. As the residual time zeros, an output is produced from the counter 16 and one pulse is generated from a differentiation circuit 34 to set the circuit 22. This opens a gate circuit 30 to generate an alarm sound from a generator 4. Thus, the timer time can be set simply with the push member to obtain a timer convenient to carry. |
