The whisk attachment is for use in a cream-whipping machine, working in a bowl and being coupled to a driving member. It has a central spindle with radiating vanes. Each vane (3) is an open framework, part of which (4) is at right angles to the shaft (1) and extends parallel to the bottom of the bowl in use. A second part (5) is clear of the shaft and runs in a meandering pattern, so that its tips nearly touch the bowl wall. Typically it can be of zigzag or wavy profile.
