PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an exchange operation by providing I/O interfaces with other devices on each device for constituting an exchange and making it possible to connect an arbitrary device for constituting an exchange. CONSTITUTION:I/O device connection parts 41-4N having I/O interface functions for connecting and I/O device 3 are provided on exchange devices 11-1N. Their operations are to make a device having functions corresponding to those of the I/O device 3 connectable to the I/O device connection parts 41-4N, and therefore information can be inputted to the exchange controller 2 not only from the I/O device 3 but also from the exchange devices 11-1N, or the information in the controller 2 is outputted and displayed. Thus, the input and output of information between the exchange controllers 2 can be possible from the exchange devices 11-1N, and moreover operations of the exchange devices 11- 1N with respect to I/O instructions can be instantaneously made by one person. |
