PURPOSE:To provide a tall light felt for improving the compression recovering property and cushion property in the felt attached to he back of a carpet for an automobile by using main materials of fibers, thermoplastic resin and/or thermoplastic foamed resin. CONSTITUTION:A felt for an automobile is constituted from main materials of fibers, thermoplastic resin and/or thermoplastic foamed resin. Then, the outside surface of the main material is covered with a thin non-woven cloth or resin. Also, for the fiber and thermoplastic resin is used a regenerated product made of frayed edge material of a carpet. Further, for the thermoplastic foamed resin is used polystylene. Thus, the felt becomes tall and light so that the compression recovering property can be improved and the thickness can be restrained from reduction during use. Hence, the cushion property and appearance of the carpet can be maintained satisfactory. |
