PURPOSE:To decrease the response time to an incoming at overload by displaying an incoming call whose the number of calls exceeds a prescribed value on an incoming display panel in an attendant board to attain response from an extension telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a scanner SCN detects an incoming call at a trunk line trunk COT, it is informed to a central controller CC. The central controller CC increments the number of waiting W in a response changeover table TBL of a main storage device MM by 1 and the call number W is compared with a limit value L present in the responce changeover table TBL. When the call number W exceeds the limit value L, the incoming call is connected to a queue of the display panel and an incoming call is displayed on the display panel LBX. When an extension telephone set TEL makes response, the central controller CC decrements the call number of the said TBL by 1 and the normal trunk line incoming processing is attained. |
