PURPOSE:To obtain a correcting device simple in circuit constitution, easily adjustable, by disposing an annularly wound coil on the rear side of a deflecting yoke in stead of a correcting permanent magnet and flowing a parabolic waveform current having a horizontal deflection period in said coil. CONSTITUTION:Both side beams B and R have a speed component Vz in a Z axis (tube axis) direction and the that Vx in an X axis direction, respectively. Consequently a circular coil 10 in the approximately same size as that of a cathode ray tube neck 1 is produced and disposed at the rear side of a deflecting yoke 6. When a flux phix in the Z axis direction (The direction of the flux phix is one escaping to the rear surface from the surface of paper.) is made by flowing a current in the coil 10, the directions of forces (f) received by the both side beams B and R due to the flux phix in the Z axis direction are reverse each other, because speed components Vx in the X axis direction of the both side beams B and R face each other. As a result, a rotating array is corrected to align horizontally. |
