PURPOSE:To avoid the occurrence of density difference and also of wrinkles in an ink film during the transfer recording period by holding a thermal head in a bending manner along a platen roller deformed by pressing forces. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that a thermal head 1 is combined with a base 4, the center is supported and the bending stiffness of the base 4 is set up in such a way as to equalize the flexion curve between the head 1 and the base 4 when applied with uniformly distributed loads with the flexion curve when uniformly distributed loads (F totally) are applied to the platen roller 2 when the push-up force of a spring 9 is F. Even when the roller 2 is flexed by pressing forces, the thermal head 1 can be flexed similarly along the roller 2. |
