PURPOSE:To minimize variation of pressure in an ink reservoir and a nozzle, by arranging piezo-oscillators in such a way that directions of polarization may be opposite to each other when adjacent piezo-oscillators are driven. CONSTITUTION:Adjacent piezo-oscillators 12, 13 bonded to an outer wall of an ink pressurization chamber 8 are arranged in such a way that the polarization directions 12a, 13a thereof may be opposite to each other. Pressure waves P12, P13 assume nearly symmetrical forms in both positive and negative sides and thus pressure waves transmitted in the direction of an ink reservoir are offset in the ink reservoir and pressure waves transmitted in the direction of a nozzle cause ejection of ink drops when a positive pressure is applied. |
