PURPOSE:To prevent an output level of an upper side band from being decreased by using a head so as to record a signal via a phase correction circuit correcting inversely the phase characteristic. CONSTITUTION:The phase correction circuit 20 correcting inversely the phase characteristic is provided to an output of an FM modulator, then the delay in the magnetic flux density against the change in a magnetic field when the AC magnetic field is applied is compensated and the reduction in the FM signal component thereby is prevented. Further, a limiter circuit 10' provided at the input of an FM demodulator 11 eliminates an AM signal depending on the orientation of a magnetic substance of a magnetic sheet 8 and the quantity limiting the signal is far smaller. Thus, the reduction in the output level of the upper side band of the reproducing signal is prevented. |
