PURPOSE:To evaluate the stability and accuracy of a solid-liquid suspension during fluctuation by interposing a cylinder type rotor between the inner and outer cylinders of a double cylinder type sample container rotatably at intervals. CONSTITUTION:The solid-liquid suspension A is put between the inner cylinder 3a and outer cylinder 3b of the double cylinder type sample container dipped in a thermostatic chamber 1 held at constant temperature, and heated up to specific temperature above its pour point. Then, a motor 5 is driven to put the suspension in rotary motion by the cylinder type rotor 4 for a specific time. An upper rotating shaft 6 and a lower rotating shaft 8 are disconnected from each other by a coupler 7 after a test, and the motor 5 is slid on a guide 10 to move from on the double cylinder type sample container. The inner cylinder 3a and outer cylinder 3b of the double cylinder type sample container and the cylinder type rotor 4 are all taken out of the thermostatic chamber and mixed fuel at the bottom of the sample container is sampled to measure and analyze the concentration of solid matter such as coal, thereby grasping the sedimentation state of coal particles, etc. |
