PURPOSE:To produce the titled sleeve roll with resistances to wear, burning, and cracking and with toughness by welding incorporatedly an outer layer of specified chemical composition and specified structure of graphite crystal high carbon adamite quality material with an inner layer of special cast steel of specified chemical composition. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve roll 36 for H-beam steel rolling is obtained by welding incorporatedly an outer layer 6 consisting of a base whose structure is mainly of perlite and chemical component is, by weight, 2.0-3.2% C; 0.6-2.5% Si; 0.4- 1.5% Mn; <=0.1% P; <=0.1% S; <=2.5% Ni; 0.5-2.5% Cr and M 1.5XSi%; 0.2- 2.0% Mo, and the remainer substantially Fe and a graphite deposited high carbon adamite material composed of graphite and cementite, and an inner layer 7 comprised of cast steel consisting of 0.3-1.0% C; 0.2-1.0% Si; 0.2-1.5% Mn; <=0.1% P; <=0.1% S; 0.5-3.0% Ni; 0.5-2.5% Cr; 0.1-0.8% Mo; as necessary, further 0.1-0.8% Nb and remainder substantially Fe. |
