PURPOSE:To realize a recording and reproducing device for voice which is small- sized, suitable for portable use and simple in operation by recording forcibly no sound state for a prescribed period in response to start of recording. CONSTITUTION:When no sound information is stored in all memory areas of the sound information of a storage section 5 at reproduction, a ''0'' signal is stored in the remaining storage area at the remaining storage area to attain record (write) a so-called no signal. Then the remaining storage area is cleared and then brought into the reproducing state after no sound state is attaind. Since the recording information is stored in a memory while being compressed into the recording information, the memory capacity is reduced by the share. |
