PURPOSE:To obtain a developer for a heat-sensitive recording material by which a high speed recording and a stabilized recording image may be obtained by using a specific fatty acid ester derivative as a developer. CONSTITUTION:Pertaining to a heat-sensitive recording sheet upon which a heat- sensitive coloring layer of which a color former and a developer which develops the color former and a binding agent constitute main compounds is provided; a fatty acid ester deivative which is indicated by a general formula as a developer is used. However, R1, R2 indicated hydrogen or lower alkyl groups. If the compund is used as a developer for a heat-sensitive recording body, not only coloring but also a prolonged preservation after recording does not bring about fading, and a heat-sensitive recording body which has a remarkably excellent stability may be obtained. Generally a paper is used as a substrate but a plastic film sheet may also be used. |
