PURPOSE:To attain no adjustment with uniform and excellent characteristic and margin for accuray of components by projecting a rear end faca of a reinforcement member bonded to a magntic core toward the outside from the rear end face of a case and using a tip face of the magnetic core and the sliding face of the case as reference faces for processing of a uniform face. CONSTITUTION:The rear end of a prolonged part 4b of a reinforcement plate 4 of reinforcement plate pairs 4 bonded to both upper/lower faces of a core half constituting a magnetic core 2 is constituted to be projected toward the outside from the rear end face of the case 9, and the magnetic head is finished by using the rear end face of the prolonged part 4b as an F plane of the reference face, applying processing such as cutting to a part of a slide face 9 shown in hatched lines and the tip of the magnetic core 2 including the reinforcement plate 4 and finishing the tip face of the magnetic core 2 and the slide face 9a as a uniform face of prescribed size from the F plane. Since the depth (c) of the case 9 is independent of the variance in the gap depth FD in this way, a margin is given to the accuracy of size of the case 9. |
