PURPOSE:To improve earthquake-proof property while enabling a supporting stand to be formed of a metal by a method, in which, when supporting the generation part of a fuel cell inside a pressure container, an insulator is interposed between its lower metal clamping fittings and a collector plate as well as a clamping rod. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of unit cell 1 is constituted in a laminated form inside a pressure container 11 while arranging clamping metal fittings 6a and 6b above and below them for housing and fixing the generation part 2 of a fuel cell assembled by clamping with clamping rods 7. Thereby, an insulation plate 16 is provided between the lower clamping metal fittings 6b and a collector plate 4b opposite thereto while providing an insulating distant piece 17 between the lower clamping metal fittings 6b and the clamping rod 7 for insulating the lower clamping fittings 6b from the generation part 2. Accordingly, a supporting stand 12a, which supports the whole of the generation part 2 by being fitted up to the lower clamping fittings 6b, can be formed of a metal thus sharply improving reliability on an earthquake-proof property. |
