PURPOSE:To attain a test of an input-only controller with no connection of an exclusive tester by transmitting the random diagnosis data even from the input- only controller when an input command is given from a host device in a diagnosis mode. CONSTITUTION:When a diagnosis mode command is sent to an input-only controller 20 from a CPU10 via an order signal line 24, a selector 22 cuts off the bus of an external connector 30 and connects the bus of a random diagnosis data generating circuit 23 to a read control circuit 21. Then the test data is sent to a parity check circuit 26 from the circuit 23 via the selector 22 and the circuit 21 when the number of transfer data is received from the CPU10 by the next read command. The circuit 26 performs the parity check for the transferred test data and then gives the normal end report to the CPU10 through an end report signal line 25 as long as no error is detected. |
