<p>PURPOSE:To attain accurate diagnosis by measuring other reel angle when the rotation of a reel is restricted, a limit detector detects one limit angle and other limit angle to discriminate the propriety of a mounting angle of a tension arm. CONSTITUTION:Reels 13, 14 are used as winding and supply sides and they are driven while a switch S21 is closed. Then a control section 20 clears a count value of a position counter 24 and a reel restricting mechanism 22 restricts the rotation of the reel 14. Then a magnetic tape 1 stops a tension arm 2 while a specified tension is applied and a reading m0 of the counter 24 is outputted to a discriminating section 25. In opening the S21, a motor 11 revolves to the right shown in the figure and when the arm 2 reaches a limit angle, a limit detector 30 generates a detection signal and outputs a reading m1 to the discriminating section 25. The motor 11 is driven gradually to the left while the S21 is kept open and when the motor reaches the other limit angle, the reading m2 of the output of the detector 30 is inputted to the discriminating section 25, and accurate diagnosis is attained by the readings m0, m1, m2.</p> |
