PURPOSE:To make it possible to take out an original which jams in a conveying path without being harmed, by appropriately performing the releasing operation of sheet paths and by associating the pressure releasing operation of a separating and supplying section therewith. CONSTITUTION:An opening and closing cover section 300 is turned in the direction I to be opened so that a part 13 of a second path 11 in the paper discharge direction and their sheet paths 13, 13b are released, and therefore an original jamming therein may be removed. Further, when a C-guide section 400 is turned in the direction II to be opened, a fourth sheet path 16 and a first sheet path 8 are released so that an original jamming therein may be removed. Even if an original positioned in the second sheet path 11 is held in one part thereof between a belt 27 and a platen 10, and the original may be easily removed by rotating the platen in the direction II in which the original paper may be pulled out form the gap between the belt 27 and the platen 10. Further, since the above-mentioned releasing operation may be carried out being associated with the pressure releasing operation of a separating and supplying sections, originals which dwell in the separating and supplying sections may be easily removed. |
