PURPOSE:To eliminate and reduce generation of a pseudo pattern by expressing plural expression patterns at random to a picture element where an equal density level is consecutive in the method changing the number of matrix elements. CONSTITUTION:When a constant density level is consecutive on a picture image, the value X+Y of coordinates X, Y on the picture image of the picture element expressed by a gradation level is obtained, and when the sum is an even number, the dot pattern is used and when an odd number the Bayer type pattern is used depending on the even/odd number of the sum to express the picture element. Thus, pseudo pattern noise produced when the picture element with equal density is expressed by a single dot pattern is reduced remarkably. |
