PURPOSE:To avoid complicated hardware and to improve the reliability by attaching automatic setting of a module address in the software. CONSTITUTION:When an address signal is generated from a module control section 21, modules B15, C16 input its signal to an address register 17. A specific module address fed from the control section 21 is set to a specific address register 6 of the modules B15, C16. The after setting, the content of a specific address register 18 and the content of an address register 5 are compared (19), and when they are coincident, a coincidence signal 20 is informed to the control section 21, which recognizes the selection of the own module. Since the signal fed from the module A14 is a signal coincident with the register 18 of the module B15, the module B15 is selected and the module C16 is not selected. When the module B15 detects the own fault, the address not corresponding thereto is written in the register 18. |
