A hinge possesses a pin (14) which can be fastened, for example, to a door frame and which engages into a sleeve fastened to the door. So that the installed height of the door can be changed easily, the pin (14) is provided with a thread (16) and with a knurled wheel (15). By rotating the knurled wheel (15), its height position and therefore also the height position of the pin (14) connected firmly to it change. To fix the particular selected position of the pin (14), a knurled nut (19) acting as a counternut is provided. <IMAGE>
