PURPOSE:To obtain uniform variable color by stacking a plurality of flat fluorescent lamps each of which has different luminescent color, emitting light only from the flat surface of the stacked lamps, and controlling color of each lamp. CONSTITUTION:Three flat type fluorescent lamps 3R, 3G, and 3B each of which emits light of red, green, and blue respectively are stacked. A magnetic field generating unit 4 such as a flat magnet is arranged on the flat surface of one side of the stacked lamp to apply magnetic field in a direction crossing to the electric fields of lamps 3R, 3G, and 3B. Color of lamps 3R, 3G, and 3B is separately controlled by current-variable stabilizers B1, B2, and B3 respectively. Color emitted from each of lamps 3R, 3G, and 3B is uniformly mixed, and desired color is easily obtained by controlling stabilizers B1, B2, and B3. |
