PURPOSE:To make it possible to stably transfer ink even if the supply amount of water is varied, in a planographic offset printing press, by reducing the number of the nips of kneading rollers from an original roller to plural inking rollers in the contact order with a plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The ink from an original roller 2 reaches an ink kneading roller 14 contacted with third and fourth inking rollers 17, 18 and supplied not only to a second inking roller 16 only through the third roller 17 but also to a first inking roller 15 only through the rollers 17, 16. Therefore, the number of nips through which the ink passes, when said ink flows so as to reach each inking roller in the order of rollers 15-18, are reduced. Because the emulsification of surface water advances every when the ink passes through each nip, in the order of the inking rollers 16-18 from the inking roller 15 from which surface water is most easily penetrated into a kneading roller group 4, said surface water is made hardly penetratable into the kneading roller group 4 on the inking rollers. By this method, the transfer of the ink is performed between kneading rollers in a stable state. |
