PURPOSE:To make a welding joint part having a large high temp. creeping intensity and difficult to be cracked with high temp. by welding the base material of ''Hastelloy'' XR having less than 0.1wt% Co with the welding material of the same component under the shielding gas including N2 gas and by allowing to remain N at the specified rate on the deposited zone. CONSTITUTION:0.01-0.3% N is allowed to remain on the welding part with TIG welding using the shielding gas including N2 gas, in case of welding with the welding material having the same component the base material ''Hastelloy'' XR consisting of by weight 0.05-0.15% C, 20.0-23.5% Cr, 17.0-20.0 Fe, 8.0- 10.0% Mo, <=0.1% Co, <=0.01% B and the balance Ni impurities. The N is formed a solid solution, fixing the transition with its becoming in a cluster condition in the base material, delaying the diffusing speed of C and delaying the cohesion bulking of a carbide, and the welding joint having far larger intensity for high temp. creep rupture than that of the base material and remarkably better sensibility for high temp. crack is made. |
