PURPOSE:To cause to temperature measuring failure at all, and to improve the quality and production efficiency by cutting off cooling water on a steel strip by cooling water from a dewatering header, and removing the residual cooling water by a high pressurized fluid from a high pressurized fluid jet header. CONSTITUTION:One or plural dewatering headers 5 having a pipe type nozzle are provided between a cooling header 1 of the final stage and a dewatering high pressurized fluid jet header 2. Accordingly, cooling water which has dropped down onto a steel strip from the cooling header 1 is cut off so that it does not flow to the upstream and downstream sides from said header. The quantity of water dropped from the header 5 is smaller than the quantity of water dropped from the header 1, therefore, the dewatering can be executed sufficiently by the dewatering with pressurized fluid jet header 2. |
