PURPOSE:To provide the titled recording medium having excellent moisture proofness and corrosion resistance, and useful as an optical disk, video disk, etc., by coating the surface of an optical information recording layer, etc. with a protective layer containing a copolymer of a polyfunctional acrylic monomer and a fluorinated acrylic monomer. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording medium can be produced by coating one or both surfaces of the recording layer 1 and the transparent substrate 2 with the protective layers 3a, 3b containing a copolymer of (A) an acrylic ester such as trimethylolpropane triacrylate, or a polyfunctional acrylic monomer such as epoxy acrylate and (B) a fluorinated acrylic monomer of formula.
