PURPOSE:To reduce effectively noise caused by wind pressure without a sacrifice of an acoustic characteristic by providing a caivty air chamber sufficient in size with respect to microphone unit in an interior of a microphone case and installing not only a microphone unit at an intermediate position of said chamber but also sound holes on front and other surfaces of the case. CONSTITUTION:A wind pressure applied to a sound hole 13 provided on a front surface part 10 of a case is applied to a cavity air chamber 20 through a filter member 14. However, a through hole 21 is provided on a microphone unit holder 19 to avoid the pressure difference before and behind. Moreover, since the titled microphone is constituted in such a way that the chamber 20 provided backward the unit holder 19 has an access to the outside through a sound hole 17 provided on a back surface part 11, the wind pressure generated in the chamber 20 can quickly disappear to the outside through a filter member 18; therefore a change in pressure in the chamber 20 is extremely decreased. As a result, the pressure change is hardly applied to a microphone unit 12 provided at an intermediate position of the chamber 20 in the same manner, and noise caused by wind pressure can be extremely reduced. |
