PURPOSE:To detect disconnection easily even if the system of one set of light source formed of numerous LED elements is disconnected by monitoring the source voltage of a battery, and judging the current during current application on the basis of the current value corresponding to the source voltage. CONSTITUTION:This lighting body 10 with LED as light source is connected to a power circuit 12 with a battery 11 as power source, and lighted on/off by the change-over operation of a switch 13 such as a lighting switch and a brake switch. A current detector 14 connected to the lighting body in series 10 is connected to the power circuit 12. There are also provided a first A/D converter 15 for taking in the voltage of the battery 11 and a second A/D converter 16 for taking in the output of the current detector 14, and the output thereof is inputted into a microcomputer 17. The data of the current value, corresponding to each voltage of the battery 11, of the lighting body 10 is compared to the data of the current detector 14 to judge the system of one set of the light source formed of numerous LED elements, of the lighting body 10 to be disconnected. |
