PURPOSE:To prevent the damage and the dirt of the information recording face by reproducing information while storing a disc in a cassette case. CONSTITUTION:Video disc 1 has center hole 3, where the rotation axis of a turntable passes, at the center, and meanwhile, cassette case 10 consists of upper plate 11 and lower plate 12, and disc 1 is supported in space 13, which is formed by upper and lower plates, by ribs 14 and 15 and is stored. These ribs 14 and 15 are formed to be brought into contact with the part other than the signal recording face of disc 1, and interval d1 between ribs 14 and 15 is larger than thickness d2 of disc 1 by small interval d. When this case 10 is fixed to a reproducing device and disc is fixed to the turntable by fixing hole 16, disc 1 is pressed upward by approximate d/2 by the turntable and is rotated under the non-contact state to case 10. Disc 1 can be reproduced without damage and dirt by picking up this through reproducing hole 18. |
